I create unique designs that meet the technical requirements for print-on-demand and ebooks for platforms such as KDP and Ingramspark. But if you are planning a special project, I have the technical expertise to create special edition books with custom additions such as gold foil and varnishes.
THE PROCESSFIRST I want to know about you. Why are you publishing a book? What makes you love writing? What is your genre? I’ll send over a form with questions about your book, genre, vision, deadlines, budget, and goals and from that information, I will create a project proposal. SECOND With an agreed-upon project overview in place, you will receive your first invoice and we will get down to the roots (see what I did there?) of your story to create the most impactful design for your book. I want you to love your book, cover to cover. I will send you concept designs to discuss together. THIRD Once we’ve landed on a concept that makes your heart sing, it’s time to create the final vision and print-ready (or ebook-ready) files. FOURTH You receive the finished files for your project and you step into the world of publishing. Don’t worry, I will be there to answer any questions you may have to get the finished book of your dreams. Revisions: I offer a flexible revision policy with all my collaborations (ask me for the details). Book cover design comes with free marketing graphics. Ask about custom book bookmarks and stickers. Interior formatting for novel format starts at $400 for a 60,000-word manuscript, additional words are $0.01/word and includes front and back matter, and one custom illustrated fleuron. but every project is unique, so please contact me for a quote!
